1st Day: We start our trip from Argolis and through the highway 7, we arrive to Olympia after a 3 hours drive. Olympia is the birthplace of the Olympic games. Visit the sanctuary of Zeus, that used to house one of the 7 wonders of the world, run in the original stadium where the ancient games were held and continue to the museum. Among amazing sculptures. You can admire the famous statue of Hermes, a work of Praxiteles 4th.bc. After lunch we continue via Patras to Rion, across the channel to Antirion, on the suspended bridge, the longest one of Europe. We arrive and spend the night at Delphi.
2nd Day: During morning, we visit the archaeological site of Delphi where the oracle was, and the museum with the unique bronze statue of the chariotear. At afternoon, we can either leisure, or explore the village or choose an optional short excursion to the mountainous village Arachova. Overnight at Delphi.
3rd Day: Driving to Athens through Levadia and Orchomenos, visit the Acropolis and the new Acropolis museum, if so desired and do a city tour to see the highlights of the city(panathinaic stadium, parliament house, academy etc.) Free time in Plaka, to see the flea market, do your shopping and have lunch.
Around 16.30 in the afternoon, we start our trip back to Argolis.
