Departure early morning (08:00am).
Leaving Athens area heading SW, we’ll drive along the scenic coast, until we reach the Corinth Canal. The Corinth Canal intersects the Isthmus of Corinth and has a length of 6.343m. The minimum width of the canal at sea level is 24.6m and its bottom width is 21m while its depth is 8m. Then after a short stop we continue driving for approximately two and a half hours and we arrive to Ancient Olympia.
Olympia became the most important religious and athletic center in Greece as a result of the Olympic Games. The greatest among the 4 National Games of the ancient Greeks and additionally, highly appreciated world-wide. The Olympic Games were held every four years to honor Zeus and also to unite the Greek nation.
VISITS: Archaeological Site & Museum.
We visit the archaeological site with the original Olympic Stadium, the Temple of Zeus (once housing one of the seven wonders of the ancient world- the statue of Zeus) and the museum where the famous statue of Hermes of Praxiteles is.

Finally, around 16:00pm we depart to return to Athens with an estimated arrival time: 20:00
